Whether to vaccinate your baby or not is a very
emotional subject if you don't just simply listen to
your pediatrician who will likely not bring up an
alternative. But if you do your research, you will end
up very confused, because you will see two definite
sides with points as clear as mud. We went through this
very process and went from parents who blindly listened
to the doctor holding the shots, to completely skipping
"well baby" doctor visits. We no longer vaccinate at
all, not because we know more than the emotionally
frazzled parents that might end up here, but because
with everything, we err on the side of caution. If you
truly examine both sides, you might end up where we did.
We do believe that vaccines do more harm than good, yet
there is also that little bit of doubt that the
mainstream (and pharmaceutical companies) have put into
the back of our minds that we are "off" for the stance
that we take. No matter where you end up, it is
important to examine for yourself what vaccines can do
to your child. This is not an exhaustive list, and there
are other sources on the internet that I encourage you
to examine. Here are some books, and some links that

faced with the decision to vaccinate a new baby, or

Books on Vaccinations (aka Immunizations)
These books are largely anti-vaxing books which present
numerous facts highlighting the danger and history of vaccines.
I am purposely not providing pro-vaxing books, because frankly,
they only support the myths that your doctor regurgitates. Two
things that you should remember is that 1) you have to sign a
consent form with lots of health warnings before your child is
vaccinated, and 2) there has been legislation that
provides compensation for families with vaccine injured children.
So, "it's safe, but just in case..."
