Infant Reflux Products
I will probably never know if
my son's problems for the first 2 months of his life were just his temperament,
or something else that bugs me to this day. He spit up a lot, and in the back of
my mind I thought it might not be right. But the pediatrician dismissed it, so I never
gave it much thought until I was able to get a good night sleep and think
clearly! By then, the problem had waned so it seemed all was well.

The problem that may have
caused my baby's fussiness could very well have been gastroesophageal reflux
(GER). Being a first time mom, I didn't realize how much a
baby was supposed to spit up. I did suspect that they weren't
supposed to cry THAT much, but we went from day to day just
trying to find a solution to the screams. When his first tooth
popped out at 3 months, we thought maybe he was experiencing
teething pains early on. I also discovered that he was a high
needs baby, so the mystery continues!

When I nursed my son I did not have the best positioner, or nursing

Changing Station Incliner

Another wonderful product is a changing station
incliner.
I can't tell you how many times I went through the
dilemma of when to change my son. If I changed him
before I fed him, I knew he would "go" after feeding.
And I didn't want him to sit in a soiled diaper! But if
I changed him after I fed him, he was sure to spit up. I
would wait long periods (or so I thought...) but he
would still spit up almost EVERY time I laid him down to
change him. With the inclined changing pad, you don't
have to worry!
