Homeschooling
Homeschooling is a big part of our life. Like many
homeschooling families, we do things a little differently.
Mainly, we don't depend on anyone to do the raising of our
children for us. Adam and Eve didn't send little Cain and Abel
off to school everyday, and we feel that just like them, we were
given our children to raise, teach, and discipline ourselves.
Things didn't end so well with Cain and Abel, but I hope
by now we parents have figured out some stuff about raising
siblings and teaching them well!
You might be interested in reading our blog,
Stay At Home Child. Or perhaps you are looking for some
homeschooling bargains. We used Hooked on Phonics for
teaching our son to read in kindergarten, and have some of those
kits available on our bargain page!
My goal is to help homeschoolers not only with homeschooling
curricula or ideas, but also to learn the best way to provide a
healthy home. You spend all day in it, make it healthy! See the
links in the bar to the left and perhaps you can learn something
about healthy living that you didn't already know.
